Gameboy pocket repair? - WiiTalk

been on to nintendo about repairing my old pocket game boy, but they wont, they said buy a ds coz they are better so i told them to stick the ds where the sun dont shine, besides i cant play my old games on ds. is there some where i can get a new screen online or maybe a shop that fix retro consoles?

i thought you could play ALL gameboy games on the DS???

Nope, only GBA games. The port is too small for the old Gameboy games, and if you were able to play them, the games would stick out by miles!

even if you could, im put off buy the dual screens, iv played my little cousins and it does nothing for me, Id rather just have my game boy pocket, looks like i might have to get one off ebay and swap the cases over, as mines mint, except the screen of course :(

Could you not buy one of the GBA Micro's that are selling out at the moment? I presume these have the same functionailty as the old advance, so will play old GB games. I still use my advance for this very purpose.

Having a quick browse on Amazon, a few sellers are doing Game Boy Pockets for about £12.00, so maybe this is a suitable deal?

Have a look there. It might be too late now, but it's worth a look around.
That will play all games up to GBA.

those micro's are pretty nice and you would have no probs playing it in the dark.

won the pocket for £10, im gonna sell the games, as i have them already, so fingers crossed they go and it will hardly cost me anything
