This was a great machine with many great games. 16 bit gaming at its finest. One of the best games for it was Super Mairo World. Simple yet fun gameplay.

I remember when i got my SNES on christmas day. It was the time when the plasystation was released but i chose the SNES instead. I know that was pretty late on in the console's lifespan but it was worth it.

It came with Super Mario Allstars + Super Mario World and to this day is still the best game collection ive ever had. I played Mario World on my friends wii a while ago and all the levels came back to me and i could easily find all the secret keys to star road. Ahhh childhood memories!

Yeah I loved my SNES

Got it in a bundle with Star Fox.
Then I started to get the classic games like Super Mario World (Downloaded on the VC, excellent memories!), Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country, etc etc.

One of the best things about the SNES was the controller pad. One of the best there's ever been and I'm so glad the classic controller was modelled on it

I know what you mean. As a kid it felt so right and comfotable compared to the ps controller which i could hardly hold due to my small child hands at the time!

I got my snes about 5 years ago from ebay. Loved street fighter 2 and super mario brothers.

i remember playing donkey kong country on my uncle's snes, such a great game, thank god for the VC

i can remember having my mates round every day for mario kart and playing 120 games before they had to go home for tea. i think we did it every single day of the summer holidays.
