Default What's your favorite old school console?

What is your favorite old school system and why? My favorite is the Nintendo because it was the first game console I was introduce to as a kid. I still love playing super Mario brothers.

Yes I think that Super Mario Brothers is my favorite old school game of all time. Nintendo and SNES because I grew up playing these systems.

I would have to pick the Sega Genesis. My mom bought me one for Christmas and it was my first system.

Not really a console, but I was a big fan of the Sinclair Spectrum as the games were not that graphical (pretty bad really) but the gameplay more than made up for it!

I think that the nintendo is my favorite old school system. I never own a nintendo or a game system growing up as a kid. I would play on my way to school at my cousin or borrow a friend console. I bought an Nintendo a couple years ago.

Really, I never played that system. It really didn't take that much to make us happy back in those days.

It certainly didn't! I got my old Magnavox PONG! game down from the loft at the end of last year and plugged it in to my TV... it still worked but the picture was very grainy and washy but my sister and I spent hours playing on it as kids!

One of the special features of the PONG! games that we had was that it could be played on Colour TVs as well as Black & White ones!!!

We've come a long way since then (thank god)!

My favorite game was the first game boy. The game boy made handheld gaming what it is today.

My favorite old school console is the super Nintendo. The SNES took all of Nintendo games and made them better. I really like playing Street Fighter 2.

The Super Nintendo was my favorite game system. These games make the Super Nintendo the best old school system:Super Metroid, Secret of Mana, Zelda, Super Mario World, the Donkey Kong Countries.
