Does anyone have this title? What are your opinions?
I'm quite interested in getting hold of this, It looks very impressive and seems to have overcome the bland look of the N64 version. Is the gameplay as solid as it was on the N64?
It seems to be available on Ebay for around £11.99 which seems pretty reasonable.
I will admit i am a fan of F-Zero's rival futursitic racing series, Wipeout, but i managed to get a copy of F-Zero GX recently, and i have to say i was suprised, i really liked it.
I'd like to see a new F-Zero for the Wii, with online play too (just like Mario Kart), that would be brilliant
F-Zero on the Wii is rumoured to be announced at E3 this year, DazzlaNufc. Whether it will be or not, I don't know. But one things for sure, it would be absolutely awesome, especially with On-Line play.
I think F zero GX has my least favourite music of any F-zero game but it has some nice soundtracks, such as "Planet Colors" from the Green Plant stages.
Gameplay wise, I thought the vehicles were much more flimsy and prone to smashing to the N64 version - but that is down to the fact the game is more refined and more realistic in a sense. The graphics and speed are amazing in the game, and there are plenty of vehicles. The story mode on the harder settings drove and still do drive me bananas.
I fancy playing it now actually. So yes, grab the game, it is a good one.
As for F-Zero Wii, please get a move on with it Nintendo. And I don''t want anything gimmicky. Give me a fun F zero game, like the SNES, n64 and Gamecube version. Please let us use Gamecube controllers if we don't wish to use the steering wheel.
