Seeing as we have a thread for the best, here's a chance to moan at the worst.
For me, it's these three so far:
Diddy Kong Racing DS - Simply bad....really bad. Bad collision detection. Graphical glitches. Poor vehicle control. Poor track design/layout. I mean, surely the makers KNEW everyone would be comparing this to MK DS......yet they STILL went ahead with it

.
A classic example of poor track is one with waterfalls. There's one that is sharp left into the waterfall, but you can't see the (smaller sized) tunnel on the other side, so more often than not, end up hitting the perimeter wall. Nothing you can do about it....the cave entrance is simply not visible from the track.
The plane and boat missions add nothing to it either.
Overall, worthy of a miss.
Animal Crossing Wild World - Boring. Long, slow, repetitive, uninteresting, DULL. I switched it off before I got the chance to do my "virtual tax returns" in my "virtual study" whilst hoping I don't miss the "virtual last post".
I REALLY don't see the appeal of this game. Instead of a virtual life, how's about getting a "proper" life and doing "real" things there instead?
Castlevania Portrait of Ruin - I again, do NOT see the appeal of this game at all. Where do I start? Well:
Gameplay - I'm sorry but this hasn't evolved from basic C64 days. Simple 2D platformer is the main mechanic....but it's done FAR better elsewhere.
Graphics - Laughable....simply laughable. I don't know what everyone else is playing but I distinctintly remember the SAME quality of graphics available on the Amiga/Atari ST. Good for it's time (the 80's/90's), but simply disgraceful for the DS. Yes, graphics are allowed to be simple (witness the basic design of things like DQ rocket slime), but the ART direction shouldn't be stuck in the past from 2 decades ago.
Music - dear oh dear....similar "stuck in the past" cheesy game music.
Everything else - Yes, you guessed it, no originality at all....stuck in the late 80's/early 90's and
definitely not worthy of a DS debut.
So what games do you want to have a moan about? Feel free to get it off your chest
