Nintendo boosts DS production - WiiTalk

Nintendo is not only trying to keep up with the demand for the Wii, but for the DS Lite as well. The handheld sold millions in 2006, and was by far the best selling console that year. They have now increased production from 2,2 million per month to a massive 2,5 million units, every month. So far a reported 35 million units have been sold (28 million is the official number), 15 million in Japan alone. As of December 13, 2006, 8,5 million have been sold in Europe, and as of November 30, 2006, 6,5 million in the US.

its good to see the DS is doing so well but i don't think i'll get another game for it for a while

I cant wait for Elite Beat Agents. A friend of mine has got a copy of the net (some sort of hacked downloaded thing I dont really understand) and its great!

That and the new Zelda which has been put back :(
