So i've been thinking abouit getting a DSi but what i wanted to know can you download all the games that are already on the Wii Shopping channel, i would have thought it possible as the controls would be no different to that of the Wii? I'm talking about the games like Mario Bros etc.

I'm asking this cause i just saw that Fantasy Zone II has just been released on the Wii Store and i used to love that game it would be so cool to have it on a hand held, yup geeky i know!

Simple answer - No.

The controls are not the same. The DSi store will at first just be releasing one or two small DSi games each week - these are announced weekly on our front page blog.

It has been announced that Japan will also get a virtual console section of old handheld games to download, but this has not yet been confirmed fir the west.
