DS import game WiFi ability.

Quickie here.

I noticed that there is a VAST difference between Europe's/America's/Japan's NintendoWIFI.com site.

Our version of Pro Evo Soccer does not have WiFi, but the US version does .

Does this mean that if I buy a US import of Pro Evo Soccer, I'll still be able to play online?

Just seems odd that some regions have WiFi unlocked on the same games that other regions don't

I haven't got any titles other than UK releases so I can't be of much help. However, when I go online on MK it recognises where I am because it gives the option to play friends, same continent, or worldwide.. .. .. .. Don't know if this is generated by my DS or the game or the server that I connect to though.. .. ..

I am assuming that your PES will connect to whichever server it is programmed to and that you'll be able to play online.

Although it raises the question as to why the European release doesn't have the option BUT is more expensive .. .. ..

Hey you! Good question. I have Diddy Kong Racing that I imported from the U.S of A and I've had no troubles getting onto Wi-Fi with it. Granted it's not been released here yet so the only people I've actually played online with have been my 'friends' or people from America, Japan etc. There is an option similar to MKDS where it asks you if you want to play against people from your local region ie. Europe, or Continental players (sounds exotic, doesn't it?!)

I've known people who've imported Animal Crossing before it was released in the UK and had them regestered on my UK game card's friend's roster. That sounds a bit muddled, but basically your American game will connect to Wi-Fi no problems and you should be able to play people from the UK online.

u kno bein connected to internet at 5mins a time if ur lucky!!! n if r especially lucky in that time your'll actually manage to load your email inbox!!!! :O
