We're not sure how we missed these when they were first announced, but we're rectifying the situation now with news of the DS lightsaber stylus set.

As reported by GoNintendo, this lightsaber set was meant to be released a while back but seems to have been delayed until September 30th now. We can only guess that its release might have been put back so it coincides with the arrival of LucasArts' new DS Star Wars game, Star Wars The Clone Wars: Jedi Alliance, which is due sometime in autumn.

After all, what self-respecting Star Wars fan won't want to play that game with their very own lightsaber-shaped stylus?

The stylus set is currently listed on Amazon.com but not on any UK retailer sites. Will it get a release here? We'll keep you updated, young Jedis.

Not sure but the different types in the picture, the ones on the left are just coloured plastic and the right light up
