My sister has just got a DS and i cant keep my hands off it. I have a PSP but hardly use it, well only on holidays. I have about 5 games and a white giga pack psp do you think i should trade it in.
How much would i get for it?
Good DS games for a hardcore gamer (i do like fun games as well)?
Should i trade?
I was just talking about the PSP with my kids yesterday. They now both have one each and one just plays Yu-Gi-Oh Tag Force games on his, while the other just plays Sonic games on his. Their DS's never get put down by comparison.
Definitely Trade! Not sure what you'll get if you trade via a shop - you'd be better off selling it via Amazon or eBay - that way you should get about £120 or so - enough for a DS Lite and a game or two.
There's loads of brilliant games available on the DS. Just browse the bestsellers at Play.om or a similar site!
Games owned (that I play): EA Playground, Endless Ocean, Excite Truck, Ghost Squad, Gottlieb Pinball, HotD, Kororinpa, Link’s Crossbow Training, Mario Kart, Mario Party 8, MySims, Pinbusters, RE:UC, Super Paper Mario, SSB Brawl, Wii Fit, Wii Play, Wii Sports
I have to agree with Sue. I only ever use mine when I am going away and maybe put a few of my DVD's on it... Or when I fancey a game of GTA

My kids both have DS's whereas I have a PSP (was my sons but I bought him a DS in exchange for his PSP).
The PSP really does lack fun games the type you can pick up for 5 mins and put down again whereas the DS has a whole stack of them. However, as an adult I do prefer the PSP both in terms of multimedia and graphical content.
A phat PSP (as opposed to new slim) will get about £60 on exchange (games will depend on their quality) and a DS will cost about £80 s/h.
If you go the Ebay route expect about £85-£95 for a white sold with the games, without the games you'll probably get ££70-£80 (and don't forget fees and postage will have to come out of that).
DS games look at Zelda Phantom Hourglass, Final Fantasy 4, Advance Wars etc.
never use mine at all! i wanted to sell it chill for a cheap price but the son wouldn't let me i never see him play on it either apart from the odd game of champ manager but it seems like a cool fashion item him and his mates have the only bame i found remotley enjoyable was roco loco (sorry about the spelling) but the ds is still played to death! (bit like our wii and ps3! he raves about his ps3 but i can't get him off my wii )
I had a PSP but rarely used it, ended up trading it in part exchange for a Wii, its nice that with it you can play GTA on the go, but its the controls, they literally kill your fingers, the analog stick will make your left thumb trob with pain after about 20 minutes, plus the lack of a 2nd analog stick is a bad sign too, heres one youtube game reviewer's talk about it which supports my opinion.
Now i've never owned or played a DS but i've rarely heard bad reviews about it, of the 2 i'd go for that

If your a hardcore gamer, then a great game is The World Ends With You! It's a game by Square Enix, it is absolutely awesome. I couldn't stop playing the game for weeks, the music is brilliant, the battle screen isn't a boring turn based system, instead it's real time and chaotic. Seriously you should definitely get this game.
definate trade, PSP just isn't as entertaining as the DS, even though it has music, movies etc. I find that i never used any of that, and the games just don't compare. DS all the way.
