why wont it work on first gen

because if you havn't noticed, if you try to play GBA games on the DS lite, they stick out, meaning the slot is smaller. That means that this things input would be big enough so it fits snuggly into the slot. But if it fits snuggly in the DS lites slot, then it will be a little too small for the First gen's slot.

15 tunes have been confirmed for Guitar Hero: On Tour including songs by the the likes of Nirvana, Blink 182 and, rather worryingly, Maroon Five.

It would seem that Red Octane are attempting to branch out to a wider audience by including some pop tunes for the handheld version of their rock classic.

So in addition to Rock N Roll All Nite by KISS and No Doubt's Spiderwebs they've included Maroon Five's This Love and All Star by Smash Mouth.

At least there's some indie rock in there with Bloc Party's Helicopter and Jet's Are You Gonna Be My Girl.

I think I will buy this game, mainly to see how it works, I will wait for the official song release though,

I really enjoy the first 3 on the PS2 but I am curious as to whether this will be a hit with the GH fans or not, it does sound rather tricky though on how you play the songs.

Edit: Just seen the track list and to be honest I don't think Iw ill be buying it now, Maroon 5 and Twisted Sister? Come on, I why does everything have to turn to pop to just win the Audience, I am a Metal and Goth fan so the first few GH was ok song wise but to include pop it just pathetic to us Metal heads.

Maroon 5?! For the love of god what are they doing? I totally agree with you Mark. How can Maroon 5 be considered legends of rock?! I thought it was bad enough having Kaiser Chiefs on GH 3.

I know. They really screwed this one up. But then again, think of how many times you have to strum on real rock songs. How could you possibly do that on this?
