There'll be more mortgages and more upgrades for your house aswell.
You can visit other towns and buy from their shops if yours doesnt have what you need. Your shop will upgrade over time aswell. Mine is now a Nookingtons and it has a second floor and a hairdressers!

Well apparently my shop is being upgraded today so I'm hoping that net will appear aswell!

I just thought I'd pop this game in over lunch and mytown is overgrown with weeds as I havent been on for so long. Spent about 30 minutes weeding, then shut the lid of the DS over. When I opened it again, the game had crashed and I had to turn it off without saving so all my weeds are back again.
And now I have to listen to Resetti moan at me and he just called me a nutjob!

Are weeds the things that look like 2 blades of grass? Because I thought they were new plants and have been trying to water them
Yep those are weeds
I think you get something like three weeds a day and I havent played for months so have loads.
The only way you'll get new plants is if you plant them yourself or if you breed hybrids, which is where 2 plants next to each other can cross breed and create another plant. You can then cross breed the hybrids and end up with some interesting results.

ah! That reminds me actually, I've found a few pitful seeds and I've buried them, but I think I've managed to fall into the hole every time I did it trying to water them
So what is a pitful??

Pitfalls are an item that, upon burial, cause all who step over them to fall into pits where they were buried.
I always seem to fall into them, made me chuckle when a villager fell in though
so all my weeds are back again.
