No topic really, just wanted to share my mindset with people, and thought this the best place to do it.
I recently got myself a 360 Elite, via a very nifty phone contract (Woo the internet). I've been striving for a 360 now for some time, and when I bought my Wii it was touch and go whether I got a Premium Xbox (nb The elite is hella prettier, and it cost the same on a contract to have the premium or the elite, so I took the prettier)
Had the Xbox Thursday,a nd have played Gears Of War a lot, and I kind of feel like my Wii will get neglected now that I have the MXE. Perhaps it's just the novelty of finally have the xbox - who knows?
There are still some great titles on the Wii though which are exclusive, so i don't think I'll ignore it totally, I just think once I get my wireless adaptor for the xbox, I could get lost in online gaming.....
I am lucky enough to own all 3 of the big consoles (not lucky i just work real hard) i can honestly say that the wii and the ps3 are gathering dust, the 360 is used everyday or almost everyday without fail, so i think you will find the wii does get shoved aside somewhere!
You know the period after you get a new game where you sort of push aside all your other games and play just that one? That applies to getting a new console too, but at a greater degree. One day you will feel like playing an old wii game and hopefully get back into the console.
The Wii will never be gathering dust. The wife doesn't appreciate my kind of games on the 360, and until i get some girl orientated games for it is unlikely to ever use the 360. She has just got herself a Wii board, so is going through Wii Fit.... "I'm fat" - "No honey, you're perfect" "I'm really fat, look at these love handles" "Babe, seriously, you don't need to lose any weight...." etc
ohh yeh a'l lay down the pain in gears once you get live i just got over 1000 G in in woop! .. honestly the wii is fun and all but live is just amazing some times i dont even play games i just talk to my friends its like a free* phone
i only use my wii to pop onto the internet to get cheats or tips for my xbox360 sometimes i have the odd game on wii sports and nes mario but the 360 is used daily! its the nuts, thought about selling the wii a couple of times but its handy for the internet
