that's only for the US, not europe

In response to the OP, in my opinion the 20GB premium is by far the best value, it has everything the elite has except elite has a 120GB HDD. for £190-200 it's actually a bargain consideing you get a headset and a months trial on live as well.

HDMI is the top quality available I believe. However I've been told that you really can't tell the difference between regular HD and HDMI so if that's the case it's pretty pointless.

Don't bother with the elite unless you intend on downloading a lot of films...

The Premium does have HDMI support now so it is the best choice. I will say the battery packs are worth getting though (1 connector and 2 packs if you have 2 controllers is fine).

The elite isn't really worth it unless you intend on downloading huge amounts of films and never deleting any demos... or have a fetish with black.

Sorry to abduct the thread, but I figured it was better than starting a new thread.

My older brother bought a pre-owned 360 yesterday,and to be honest I was amazed with it! Consequently I'm now looking at getting one myself. My idea is to get the Pro version, as reports say the HDD is essential, but I see that all 3 versions now support HDMI. Is the HDMI connector on the back of the 360 a standard port, or is it a dodgy MS proprietary port which screws my into buying the MS HDMI lead?

Also I am aware of the Red Ring of Death issues, but there are lots of forum posts on new chipsets, CPU's GPU's etc. What is the definitve opinion of Wiitalkers?, as all this talk of jaspers and falcons is just too confusing!

I also have read reports of a possible September price drop?

Just tell me peeps - wtf do I do? Wait and see, or buy it? And which one do I buy?
