Mario Party 8
Give the game a rating out of 10, with 10 being excellent, 1 being poor. This will help to give people an idea as to how good the game is if they are considering to buy it.
Please consider your vote carefully, and only vote if you own the game. This may sound obvious, but there will always be one voting because they like the look of the game but haven't yet played it.
If you feel inclined to do so, take a few minutes to comment on why you gave the rating you did.
If you want to see a game you want to buy getting the same treatment, post a request in the sticky at the top of this section.
If you've played any of the Mario Party games before, yu know what to expect.
Bright and colourful. Loads of cute characters. A selection of gameboards to throw dice and move round, and a mini-game after everyone has moved each time.
It's a lot of fun, if that's your thing. It is mine and I love it, though there are better games on the Wii and maybe Mario Party has come to the end of the line at the eighth incarnation?
I have been fair and given it 7. Though if you like Party Games it is the best on the Wii in my opinion. If you don't like Party Games, don't buy it.
Games owned (that I play): EA Playground, Endless Ocean, Excite Truck, Ghost Squad, Gottlieb Pinball, HotD, Kororinpa, Link’s Crossbow Training, Mario Kart, Mario Party 8, MySims, Pinbusters, RE:UC, Super Paper Mario, SSB Brawl, Wii Fit, Wii Play, Wii Sports

Given it a 3, a combined rating from me and my friends who played it. I felt it was too slow paced, and the mini-games were short, and few and far between. I bought it as a party game for my Wii parties, but my friends soon grew bored of it and lost interest, so it was back to Warioware and Wii Sports. I hated it so much I got rid of it, and that's saying something, because I usually like to hold on to all of the games that I own.
I've given it a 5. Haven't played it myself but sat through many a game with my son and he does my head in with it! I think it's good if you like that kind of thing, great for kids, etc, but not really my cup of tea to be honest.
I have gone for a generous 6. Like Mr Bond said it is too slow paced..this was the first Mario Party game I have ever played My Fiancee seems to like it, I don't mind playing the game, but don't like the fact one game lasts around an hour, and as some of you may have read in other posts of mine, I don't get loads of "Wii Time" as it is

Being a huge mini/party game fan, I rushed out to get this as soon as I got my Wii - sadly it was traded in a few days after - too slow paced and not enough to keep a gropu of people entertained in my opinion.
Still, I w has its funny moments - so I will give it a very generous 5.
Not a terrible game, but a bit limited imo. The one player game was ok, but a bit tedious. The party mode was good for a while, but once you have played all the mini games a few times, it gets too repetitive - especially if you are playing with 3 or 4 players (it limited the amount of mini games it chooses from). I would say it is aimed more at younger players really. 6.
