Well, after much deliberation this week with Kandi, we have finally come up with the plan of action as to where we go from with the MOH-Champions league, and im proud to announce to you…The Medal of Honour – Champion of Champions Tournament!
We have closed registrations off and also contacted all members that showed an interest in the beginning and we have come out, with a very good number of members which will be taking part in it. Those members are as follows;
Snazy, JackAss, hillyjo13, KandiDesigns, joe.b, danhirons, Jemzi08, mojo, SMG13, Dh1ll0n, Dazz159, ynneBenny, Griff, wayne1983m, Lagger, bootnut, Nicko, Headshot401, kerrko and Jarri.
All members will be notified by PM that they are obviously through to the tournament now, and included in that will also be a link directly to this thread so that they can monitor how it is progressing and to also see group rankings and tables.
This morning, me and Kandi went through the list of members, and have now sectioned them off, into there first line ups, which will be…(above)
As you can see, we currently have 4 very different groups of players, which have all been picked at random by Kandi.
The 1st stage of the tournament is for the players inside the groups play each other once e.g. JackAss plays SMG13, dh1llon, Jarri and kerrko once each (jackass v smg13 etc) (and likewise for the other players in the same group). Then out of the 4 mini-leagues the top 3 from each group will progress to the next phase (further details to come – similar format to 1st stage). Each match is to be played on the Sewers map and each match is first to 10 kills (not score 10, kill count). All weapons etc on, ranked games, and other defaults (apart from those stated). 3points will be awarded for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0pts for a loss.
For the 2nd stage there will be a draw to determine the groups, with the players finishing in 1st position in their group being kept apart (i.e. seeded) but no seeding between positions 2 and 3. Also, players from the same group in the 1st stage cannot play each other again in the 2nd stage. Hope that makes sense, basically the player that finishes 1st in group A, will not face any other group winner, nor 2nd and 3rd from his group (he will face either 2nd or 3rd positioned players from group B,C or D).
Everyone now know’s who they need to play, so get PM’ing and arrange your matches for convenient times and I will give a deadline to play these matches by the end of play on the 24th March (but if I am aware of problems then other arrangements can be made, contact me). If games are not played by then, and I am not aware of the situation going on, then I will be forced to draw/ award random walkovers for these matches. When matches have been played, BOTH players must PM myself (or post in this thread) with the result, and we will update the leagues on a regular basis, with a running TKTD (Total Kills, Total Deaths) count to separate people with the same points score.
