Just been reading through the posts and it seems like there's been a bit of trouble with connections.
Just to make it clear on the rules regarding disconnecting:
I don't think anyone who is part of this league would disconnect on purpose. We've always said that the League is purely for fun and although there will be that competitive edge, at the end of the day it's been set up so we can play regular games against people who we can trust to play fair.
However, I think it's fair to say that if a disconnection happens 3 times in a row when someone is trying to play someone else, then on that 3rd time the current winner of the game when it disconnected will get the 3 points at that score. This rule is not trying to punish people with dodgy connections but just trying to keep the league running smoothly.
We've never had a problem with it before so, hopefully, this rule will not have to be implemented, but I thought I better make it clear because of the recent games where it's happened.

On a lighter note... I'm about this afternoon til about 6.30, so if anyone can play our games, please do!

I am going to be a bit busy this weekend. Friday will be full of shopping and watching a film, Saturday I have parties galore (me and a few friend smight be playing 2v2 online so don't think I am playing wii games if you are online - please invite me for a game though BUT IT WOULD ONLY BE A FRIENDLY NOT A LEAGUE GAME - my friedns are a bit naff at strikers you see!!) and Sunday I will be around.
On Sunday has anyone got any specific times they want to play me at (Alpha and FooFan mainly - also is anyone else in the WiiLite with us?) so we can get these games done? I can probably play pretty much anytime but will not be sitting online all day so let me know!

Well said Foo - couldn't agree more. For those with bad connections please either own up and don't play or simply sort out your broadband line as it is not acceptable.
Also Foo what if the person with the bad connection disconnects on the 3rd game at 0-0 when the previous games the guy with the normal connection was winning like 8-0 and 7-0 then it is not fair! I think we should say if someone disconnects 3 times then they auto lose 5-0.

I didn't get an invite so it must have been buggered. I kept seeing you go from available to busy and everytime I went to set up the friendly you were busy by the time I could invite! Never mind - you will just have to wait to get beaten

Ok lets say 6pm on Sunday then.
I really wish they would change the scoring system on strikers to be more of a % win rate thing like warcraft. Basically whoever plays the most games ends up #1 on the rankings - pathetic. Also the disconnecting points thing needs to be sorted - give the connected person the win.
X-Box seems to have it so much better.... COME ON NINTENDO GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER.
