How are we getting on with race organising???

Do we need a deadline to get things moving????

Can I just make a comment about the race Groups, I think they are to small, we raced -1 and Adam has just raced -1 and its rubbish racing with 3, no offence to anyone but we just notince that with 3 you get out the front and you get left alone and 2nd and 3rd are scrapping it our for dear life.

When there was 6 in a group you still had a good race if someone was a no show but I just don't feel the smaller groups are quite as much fun.

I would love to have bigger groups but it seems to be a struggle at the moment to get just 4 racing!!

Any suggestions on how to improve this would be gratefully received

I think even though there was more effort getting more together for the race it was worth the effort.

Also is there going to be some way of preventing no shows from joining in again or for the next event like a ban if there isn't a really good excuse or communication via the thread as there are people who wanted to race and aren't as places ran out and we want some fun online competition which you need to comit to if you said you want to take part.

I'm not critising at all its just when I'm watching Adam race I'm thinking about these things as I'm not having to concentrate on racing and hopefully as you said input is good.

i've been thinking about the problems with getting the races done and the numbers per race and although still floored this could be worth a try. You assign 2/3 specific race times per week say monday night at 8 thursday at 9 and sunday at 8. Each night is 2 circuits which are random and points are calculated over a season say 4 weeks, but each racer can only compete 6 times over a season there by everyone will have done 12 circuits. And those that find time to race will get decent points and those that cant be bothered sit at the bottom of the table. Numbers could still be an issue as every one could race one night and only 2 people turn up the next, and im not sure how hosting would work but as i say it could be worth some further investigation.
