Wiitalk Mario Kart fastest lap tournament
This challenge is very similar to the setup of Mario Kart Grand Wii. Those of you who didn't attend this event, all that happenned was you would race around a given course and the person who obtained the fastest time would be put on the leaderboard if indeed the time was one of the top 10 fastest recorded on the day.
However there are a few differences, because we are not there to witness your laps you will have to take a digital photo of it and post it in the thread as proof of your time. (The time is displayed at the endof the race when you play single player Grand Prix; a photo of this is what you require for proof of time) Only verified times will be displayed in the top 10.
As for rewards, I dont think money would be appropriate and stuff like Wii points card would have to be sent through the post, costing money. So, i propose that some kind of icon which could be displayed in the winners sig and it would be recognition that you are a great Mario Karter. More icons = more respect. (If anyone can make an icon it would be much appreciated)
I will display the top 10 verified times recorded by players. If everything goes OK the tournament will start on the 13th April, enough time for you to buy and have some practice on the game. The colsing date for entries from here on in will be Saturdays, 9PM GMT - so in the case mentioned earlier the closing date will be 19th. Then on the following Sunday I will add new tournament criteria (new course information) and let you get on with recording your best time. Please note that when the new tournament begins the old one will be closed and results will not be registered after the official closing time.
