Gamestation is where I got mine from. Somewhere on the site there was a place to put your email address and the day after I entered mine I recieved an email telling me that at 10am they were getting some in stock on their web site.
At 10:05 I had ordered and paid for my Wii. I guess I was lucky!
The Wii Sports package will be great for getting coordination skills developed and if you have room you can have 4 player tennis which will get them working in pairs thus developing teamwork skills.
Bowling can have up to 4 players and you can either have 4 controllers or just the one which they will have to share whilst taking it in turns to bowl.
Wii Play (which comes with a controller) has 8 small games which will also help with hand to eye coordination.
If you manage to get a Wii I am sure they wont realise they are learning some skills but simply having fun playing on the Wii!
A mate of mines 5 year old enjoys playing bowling on mine and what she is learning at the moment is that you don't have to come first to have fun. If she doesn't come in 1st place she gets in a strop, thanks to our encouragement she is beggining to see that it is the taking part that counts and winning is just a bonus!
