On the subject of games, Red Steel, although not anything to write home about, it's still a fun and enjoyable FPS. The controls make up for lack of quality aswell.
In my opinion and most other peoples, Resident Evil 4 is the best shooter/adventure game out on the Wii, although it is not a FPS so it may not be to your liking.
I would say that you should buy Zelda Twilight Princess even though you played it alot on the GameCube. It's totally amazing and well worth a second play through!.

Thanks for the advice - I played Resi 4 to death aswell on the GC !!! - loved it ! - I might consider another copy I will definently get Umbrella Chronicles when its out - I like the look of the Wii Zapper !! .......Nice forum very friendly I cant stand it when your new on a forum and constantly get put down !! I think I might go for COD3 and Red steel - I an always trade one or the other in if I dont like it !

If you are looking for a top quality FPS on the Wii then you're going to have to wait for Metorid 3 I'm afraid
Both COD3 and Red Steel are far from perfect and are quite average.
COD3 in particular has a very annoying bug in it that means you lose control of your aiming when the battles get hectic
My advice would be to wait it out for a couple of weeks

thats a shame I have heard of this bug - is it due to slow down in the game ?? (lack of processing power) - I will definitely be getting Prime 3 in a few weeks, the advanced controls look really good - cant wait for it - resi4 seems more and more appealing to me !!

Although it is not out until November, I think Medal Of Honour: Heroes 2 will be an amazing FPS. The 32 player online mode will be a welcome addition also
