Default Hello everyone
Just got given a Wii as a pressie

GREAT bit of kit imho. I was waiting for the PS3, but I don't think that'll be this much fun...

Games and accessories are piling up at the mo', and I'm still waiting for certain games to appear (mercury meltdown, blazing angels, super swing golf, the next version of mariokart etc etc) but so far, the future for ninty looks good.

I'm very busy in my job so the little time I do have off I like to just pick up and play (rather than spend hours "building up" my way through a storyline)...so I'm very happy with it in hindsight.

Anyways, that's enough about me, glad to find this forum and say Hi.

From reading so far, there's LOTS of great info around here...great job you're all doing imo



On to the console, the more I use the wii(mote) the more I think it really is the future of gaming.

As I posted earlier, imagine a First Person Shooter where instead of guns, you're a Sith or a Jedi carrying around a kick-**** lightsabre???????????

Oh-Yessssssss

(they just need to refine the sword movements to better Red Steel)

sorry to add gaffer but i didnt quite like the redsteele game, the intro was way too long

You're right in that the swordfighting needs better refinement....and I did prefer the COD3 game (more atmospheric)....but red steel is still quite fun for me.

Hopefully i'll finish it before march so I can trade it in for Mercury Meltdown.
