Sorry if it's a bit of a silly thing to review, but I thought I'd add another review to this section just for the hell of it
So, here is the free wii stand you get with the wii, I don't think I'll be getting another wii stand as it does me fine...It's also good because PS3's and 360's don't come with free stands.
Strength - 8. Very strong, seems to be able to withstand an awful lot
Looks - 6. It could've been white and fitted in with the wii, but atleast it was free
Standability - 5. The worst part, It's meant to be a 'stand' but when playing on Gamecube games it can tip the wii over, atleast it's not caused any damage - yet
General standyness' - 21/30...Very good as it's free, which is better than nothing
Ummm to the point about it's 'standability' did you have the clear plastic disc supplied fitted at the time?? That helps
Wii: Super Mario Galaxy(excellent game!!), Mario Party 8, Rayman Ravin Rabbids (excellent game!!), Zelda, Resident Evil 4, Wii Sports, Links Training, Super Paper Mario, CSI, MARIOKART
PS3: Kane & Lynch, Folklore, Viking: Battle for Asgard, Lair, Assassins Creed, Oblivion GOTY, Sonic, Bad Company, Haze, Rainbow 6, Indiana Jones Chronicles, Drakes Fortune, Army of Two, GTA4
Yes, I don't really think it did help as it still fell over!

Mine's been stood up on the stand since coming out the box, I've never pulled it over when using GC controllers either, so don't know what you lot are doing . .
Extra clearance for ventilation is also a good thing and it does look nice (although mine still gets pretty hot if left on standby with a disc in it...seems fine when it's actually switched on, so I'm not sure what's going on there.).
Still I'm surprised no one has done a stand with fancy colours/patterns/extra fans or other rubbish in it.
(although mine still gets pretty hot if left on standby with a disc in it...seems fine when it's actually switched on, so I'm not sure what's going on there.).
When it goes on standby, the fan turns off... but with the disc in rotating, along with the processor still running everything/waiting for messages and updates, along with the wireless card listening for info... It just heats up without the fan
When its on, the fan goes (obviously) and most of the time it will stay cool
Seeing as my last hardware review got gunned down in flames by a certain Wario, it seems I've been put off posting a review for a while.
Anyway - I've posted about some rechargeable batteries in the past, should I review them?

The ps3 and 360 are not supplied with stands, simply because they have no use for them?, they're designed to be stood either up or down, thats not my opinion, its just fact.
Also, the ps3 isn't meant to be stood up? so what are those 4 rubber feet on the base of my ps3 for if its not meant to stand? as for 'sturdyness', do you guys stand your consoles on slanted desks?
