Nintendo has successfully launched Wii in all three major territories and everything points to an unqualified success, as Nintendo Europe announced today they had sold more than 350,000 machines across Europe in just two days. By comparison, the United States snapped up just over 600,000 in a week's time. That's a pretty incredible launch adoption rate.
"For those who were unable to buy Wii during the launch weekend, rest assured more stock is already on its way and we are doing everything possible to ensure that a steady supply of Wii units is shipped to stores across Europe throughout December and into 2007," said Nintendo Europe Marketing Director Laurent Fischer in an announcement release about the launch.
