I agree with KZF. I think wiiregister is an Ideal place to hold tournaments, as it has all the codes.
There are lots of codes here now we have the repository and the tournaments that have been carried out here have worked out well.

WiiRegister has much more american's, meaning for games that come out early for US (Brawl Anyone?) we can go over there to exchange codes while here we would just sit in the back watching everyone talk about MK.
I think that's what Caboose was saying, there isn't much for us Europeans over there that we can't get here. However, if you are from the US then I can see how you would want to use that site as there aren't many Americans here.
Well... WiiRegister is a Seperate website. It never was linked to WiiTalk in any way. It was made by Octane, so WiiTalkers will have a place to share frined codes and add them. Then we decided to make it a worldwide website. Not just for WiiTalk, but for everyone.
There is actually more people from UK than there are from US on WiiRegister. We are getting more active UK and US members because of Mario Kart and Brawl. It seems like those to games are the "hottest" games on WiiRegister.

To be fair it was originally created exclusively for WiiTalk and from an idea that was discussed in this forum, so I'd say it was linked to WiiTalk a lot!
But as you say, Octane decided to stop the WiiTalk exclusivity and since then a forum has appeared on the site etc, and I think it's fair to say the 2 sites are hardly linked at all now...

Your all right in what you say.
It was originally setup for wiitalk members, but only a handful signed up to it, so i made it a proper website and took away the 'exclusivity' so as to attract more people.
The forums were a natural progression to a site of that kind... however, as i am loyal to WiiTalk i made a choice to re-direct the way the site was going and made it an Online Wii games site - not a general site.
Thats why if you visit the forum, it is only focused on the online side of the wii
