Wii fonts

For those of you who want to create siggies/avatars with a more "authentic" feel, you could use some Wii fonts

I've found the info (and installed) the fonts you'll need from the ninty forum (so the credit isn't mine for finding 'em ). They're called 'Continuum'.

The font itself comes in three varieties (clickable linkies --> ), Continuum Light, Continuum Medium and Continuum Bold.

Continuum Light is probably too thin (but you'd be able to type a letter using it).

Continuum Medium is near enough to the 'W' in Wii, and Continuum Bold is good for the 'ii' in Wii.

I've downloaded them....it seems that each of the font-styles zip folders contains the other two styles too (so unzipping "bold" gives a folder containing "light", "medium", "bold").

Anyway, they're free and easy to install.
Judging from my last post, I'm not trying to start a fight here (honestly ), but i'll post instructions of how to install 'em as some may need help (and you wouldn't wanna miss out on all this WiiFonty-goodness):

MAC=double click any font file.....click "install".....done

PC=It's recommended you install only one format — OpenType, TrueType, or PostScript — of a font. Installing two or more formats of the same font may cause problems in windows when you try to use, view, or print the font.
1 Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel
..........Note: In Windows XP, choose Start > Control Panel
2 Double-click the Fonts folder.
3 Choose File > Install New Font.
4 Locate the fonts you want to install;
..........In the Drives list, select the drive and the folder containing the fonts you want to install.
..........In the Folders list, select a folder that contains the fonts you want to install. The fonts in the folder appear under List of Fonts.
5 Select the fonts to install. To select more than one font, hold down the CTRL key and click each font.
6 To copy the fonts to the Fonts folder, make sure the Copy fonts to the Fonts folder check box is selected.
..........Note: If installing fonts from a floppy disk or a CD-ROM, you should make sure this check box is selected. Otherwise, to use the fonts in your applications, you must always keep the disk in the disk drive.
7 Click OK to install the fonts.


Now go and enjoy the fonts

I love how the mac install takes you about 2 seconds :P

<slaps self on wrist>but like I said "I don't wanna start a fight" - there are lots of non-computaah savy peeps that may need help installing fonts

so instead.....

as you can see i used it in my sig

its a nice font :P
