Are there any plans afoot to be able to convert existing (useless) VIP stars into (useful) Wii points?

Even a ratio of 2:1 would be OK, and I would've thought it would've been easy seeing as your nintendovip account is linked to the wii shop channel.

Is ninty even considering this idea?

Yeah same here. It gives an incentive to buy nintendo's games rather than a 3rd parties if you get points.

Yep....can't wait to get some vc games with it (as i'm not prepared to pay with my cc the stupid prices that ninty charge for old 2d games)


At least this way i'll be able to get at least some games "for free"

Yep, I have bought Super Mario 64 and Mario. Only so that I could use my Classic Controller =]

I don't really want to pay for any more, so I'll wait for the Stars Conversion program to come into effect.

I will be saving my stars up until I can get something from VC then!

I dont see the point in buying Wii Points to by a game on the VC when you can pick up second hand game cube games for a fiver.
