Default [Japan] Nintendo Claims Entire Top 15!

The latest data released by EG and Media Create, shows that Dragon Quest Monsters has quickly sold through its initial stock and is closing in fast on breaking a million in just three weeks. Wii Sports and Wii Play are also resurgent and look to break a million each within the next few weeks, something only Super Smash Bros. Melee could manage on the GameCube in Japan!

General Knowledge Training joins the million-selling club this week, whilst New Super Mario Bros., More Brain Training and Animal Crossing are closing in on the four million mark. Also of note, both Pokémon games together have now surpassed 4.5 million...

50.) Live Power Pro Baseball 13 (PS2, Konami)

Considering the highest selling Wii Third Party game so far is Bandai Namco's Ennichi no Tatsujin with around 39,000 sales, it would appear that the company's own Dragon Ball Z port (the game launched on PS2 late last year) has already leap-frogged the competition in its first week, claiming nearly 67,000 sales. As for those worried about the slow start WarioWare and Zelda made, both games are actually back on the up now, most likely as gamers who picked up Wii Sports and Wii Play look elsewhere for fresh gaming fun. Even Pokémon Battle Revolution is trundling along quite nicely.

The updated hardware data has also now been released, showing a major week all round and the dropping of the XBOX from sales tracking:

Hardware - This Week | Last Week | Total 2007 Sales | Lifetime Sales

1.) Nintendo DS Lite - 344,878 | 176,219 | 344,878 | 7,768,202
