Default Taking air guitar to higher levels

Taken off NintendoWiiFanboy.com, the use of the Wiimote goes futher and futher. Possible option for Guitar Hero thats out for the Wii this year? Maybe

"Forget Guitar Hero -- these guys are doing it for themselves. Turning the Wii controls into a guitar, that is, and it's pretty awesome. Clearly, this guy doesn't need no instructions to know how to rock.

Half the fun of the Wii has been seeing all of the creative uses people have drummed up for the controls."

Has this actually been done on the Wii or is it just a bloke waving his controller and nunchuk around with some MIDI sounds overlayed on to the video?

About 3/4 the way through theres a message saying:

Server: Linux (BlueZ+LibWiimote+Netcat)
Client: Java + Quicktime MIDI

So basicly its a PC, a Wiimote and a Java program that uses the Wiimote and Nunchuck movements to create various guitar sounds. Creative eh?

I wish nintendo-et-all would get off thier asses and start making some decent games ... the very best the wii have to offer at the moment are mostly buggy and short lived. The games that are in the pipleline and the fact that i dont need the money are the only reasons that my wii hsnt gone the way of ebay
