Hiya Guys, it is just me or has there been a major lack of games for the wii since it's birth? Im am stricly speaking in europe. Since its birth in the uk on the 8th of December I have found myself waiting for the next big game, Im kinda annoyed the usa has super paer mario and appartlney were not getting it until november.... I mean why? surley it sosent take that long to convert a game to pal. I got Godfather 3 weeks ago, dont get me wrong it is amazing, but I finished it almost 2 weeks ago and now im just spending my time and money on virtual console games because there isnt any thing on the market that appeals to me at the minute, maybe im just ranting but I want more wii games!!!! I have Zelda which is the best wii game buy far and godfather is great but I checked several sites and there dosent appear to be any great games becoming to the uk any time soon, if it wasnt for the virutal console I think I would cry,
I feel its just a matter of time. A lot of good games are still in development (Mario Galaxy, Metroid etc etc) and weve seen what the Wii can do with the likes of Heatseeker, Zelda and WarioWare.
Things can only get better, it might just take a few more months though

Yeah this is definately true. It's fair enough to say it's still early days, but I can't see the Wii having the massive selection of Games that the 360 has, in the same amount of time.
The fact that the US does have more games is also v.annoying, They know the demand is high here, but we still seem to be the last on the list
Once Mario Strikers comes out and we finally get our Online game, hopefully then there will be a steady flow of good titles being released...

DS:

i think its better like this with not so many games, dont want to see endless crappy ports of games from other consoles shoddily repackaged with tweaked wiimote controls instead of gamepad controls.
A few Wii owners (some on this site) have started to sell their Wiis after only having them a few months as (great as they may be) they are getting bored with the lack of games.
I think it will be a few months yet before we see the second wave of the Wii Revolution where loads of new games are released.
if you have a look on amazon, they have a big list of the games that are in the pipeline. from the looks of it, quite a lot of sports sims but for the more serious gamer they're a few.

True about peeps selling their Wii`s but i think a factor in that is the fact that because Wii`s are so few and far between that they can actually sell them at a profit, which is quite rare in this day and age. If they only got £100instead of £200 for there console then they would have kept hold of them i think.
I doubt i would ever part with my Wii but then again i have 3 young kids who love the wii and i actually enjoy watching them play it/playing against them and its fun but i can also see why some peeps would get bored of it after awhile.

Plenty of great Gamecube games to be bought for pennies too!
