Default Question about Nintendo Wii and Television

Will it look absoloutley rubbish on an old 28 inch flat screen Television?

Not really. It'll look very slightly better if the TV can run in 60Hz rather than 50Hz, but it looks great in either mode.

Mine is currently running on a 32" LCD telly at 50Hz. Son altered it somehow to 60Hz and it looked awful! Shadows everywhere. It's absolutely fine in 50Hz but having never seen it any other way I can't comment on how much better it COULD look.

I was gonna say the same thing. I certainly wouldn't consider any flatscreen TV "old". To me an old TV is one that runs in black and white.

totally, my mum bought a awesome Sony only 8 years ago and it is CRT but was hot at the time! No doubt your flat screen will be hot.

If it was a size issue, 28" is big, i have 32" and its truely fantastic!
