Hmm, apparently this was a huge game for the GameCube, but I've never played it. May have to rent it when it's released.

Good to see some online gaming on the horizon.

thank god, i thought it would of been quite a lot longer than that for it to come out cant wait,but i hope that nintendo dont aim online gaming at younger kids becouse other wise you might need people wii codes to play them so you can only play people you know witch would suck

second is the first to loose

According to the press release there will be 3 kinds of online play:

- "Friendship" - Play people on your friends list
- "Random" - Sets you up with random people (I imagine it'd be like Internet Hearts on Windows XP)
- "Regional" - Like random, but limited to your region

So even if you have no friends, you can play it

That's thoughtful of them! Who has ever heard of a video gamer with no friends?

The Wifi will be EXACTLY the same system as DS Wifi.

If you have one,you'll know exactly how that works.......

That's good news re: online (OP), but what really interests me is ---> when will we get online 3rd party games

(I'm sure a decent FPS online would be fun)
