Default The Mario Kart Wii driving school comes to DC

Mario Kart Driving School Tour, Washington | Events | Yelp

If I find a news article, I'll post it, but my fiance' went over to it in DC today. She got her Mario Kart 'liscense', which I assume is an actual piece of paper, a Mario Kart liscense plate, Mario Kart air fresheners, and her picture taken in a life size Kart.

Pretty cool, huh? Wonder if anything like this is going through the U.K.

Er no, we don't get goodies like that!

I think we're just too far from Japan.

And if they do it here, it'll be London, Birmingham, Glasgow or something, so the vast majority of us are too far away.

How far of a drive is it for most of you to get to London? I'm curious.

Well I live in London but I would think most people wouldnt want to drive there anyway. The traffic and parking are horrendous!

Is there any other way to get there? Public transit? The tube, I assume, only services London and some suburbs. Hows the public transit over there?

It's about two and a half hours journey by train to London from where I am too. But after today's fiasco with the trains I wouldn't bet my bottom dollar on it being quite so short as that.
