^^ no probs . They're larger than you think, but are actually a nice size and good quality overall (don't drop 'em on the hard floor though -- easily scratched).
Oh, and before I go, the "oh so impressive looking" mega chunky 3 Disc Deluxe Edition of King Kong is my latest acquisition .
What, you think I paid £25-30 for it?.........am I mad?

Liz: It would just be nice if we could spend a bit more time together, just the two of us. It's just with Ed here, it's no wonder I want to bring my flat mates out and then that only exacerbates things. Shaun: What do you mean? Liz: Well you guys hardly get on, do you? Shaun: No, what does exacerbate mean?
Was in HMV today and noticed quite a good sale on the CD's (2 for a tenner).
Already have the two most recent Kasabian and Kaiser Chiefs albums, but for some reason I had missed out The Fratellis (Costello Music - Flathead, Whistle for the Choir, Chelsea dagger and Baby Fratelli justified the buy )......so that's one down.
I was then a bit stuck on what to get next. The problem with these sales is that usually I have all the decent stuff already so when I do find something worth getting, I'm stuck as to what to get next to qualify for the offer (e.g. 2 for 1 or 3 for £20 etc) .
I picked up The magic Numbers as I thought maybe it'd be good (I've only heard one track from that album). In the end, I took a gamble and swapped it for The Pigeon Detectives. They vaguely ring a bell (and bear in mind I'm typing this before I've heard them or any of their tracks) so I plumped for that (Wait For Me) as the second one.
I only hope it isn't a bad choice .......... time to see if "Gaffer's Blind Buying of the Day" will pay off ........
If your'e into Kasabian, Kaiser cheifs and Fratellis then you'll enjoy The pidgeon detectives (most probably) and most people like them more than The magic numbers.
I take it this thread is just about your everyday bargains and buyings?

You're right on both counts (yes, it's my bits'n'bobs thread, and yes, they're a great band - I'm glad the gamble paid off ).
Re: music...I listen to pretty much anything really (recently been going through a brit rock phase....but also listen to stuff from mowtown to dance to classical to "world" etc ).
On my way to work this morning I followed a car with a mushroom hanging in the back. We tried to get a picture with a mobile phone but the quality was very poor
