Mario Kart Wii or Wee? (...and what controller do you use?)

I use Dry Bones but baby mario is good and yes the childish weee etc exclamations are worth a lil' chuckle

Well I can't comment on controls as i have only tried the wheel which I personally didn't like....

I do prefer the DS MK just for the skill level.. but I am sure after a while with the Wii one I will find nuances and techniques for advanced players etc...

from what I have read wiimote and nunchuck is the best combo as you can still perform the tricks really easily with this combo

Only tried the wheel so far but will prolly stick with as it gives me a more immersive feel like I'm actually driving

Had been using Toad until I unlocked Birdo who I now use most and makes the most ridiculous noise like a kazoo on acid

Only thing I don't like so far is the friend code system. Been a few times now where I've seen on the forum that people have rooms open and inviting others to join. Problem is that unless you're on the hosts friend list you can't join it and it seems a lot of people have already reached the 30 limit so for you to join the room they'd have to remove someone and then add you.

Would've preferred some sort of lobby system where you could search for player names and join them if there's room, and the host could have the option of who to keep or kick from their room.

Aside from that I'm loving it

I tried the nunchuck combo - Man! how much better is it than the wheel!!

Currently using the remote/nunchuk combo. Tried the wheel first and just couldn't get used to it. I was sliding around over-steering all over the place, and I couldn't get the hang of drifting and firing with it either. Find the combo much easier to use.

Using Luigi at the moment too in the standard cart, although I haven't had the chance to unlock anything else. Spent all weekend playing it round my friends and so managed to unlock loads of stuff on his version as he's not too great at it. Now I have to do the same on mine! Still haven't had too much time "in the driving seat" as it were so lots of improvement to be made!

i've been using the wheel so far and i've been loving it, but i think 150cc is a lot tougher so i may resort to using the wiimote nunchuk combo for accuracy.

i use the wii wheel, you get lots more satisfaction from winning since its harder to master. But oonce mastered its more fun.

I use the Mote and Chuck of course, the Wheel tires out my arms after an ammount of time and I suck at it!
