Sorry about that

.....I've made some space

.
The keyboard I bought is not a "standard" domestic one you can get in PCWorld (it was "Ebay to the rescue"

).
It's an industrial microswitched keyboard, the kind used in factories/airports/industry etc etc. Liquidated stock so got it for a measly £9 inc.delivery (normally about £45).
As the USB cord was short, I also got a 5m USB2.0 extension cable for £3 to go with it (sometimes I love ebay

- there were about 3 kb's for sale when I bought mine).
It's a
Cherry industrial 83-key mini keyboard (I got the white one).
It has to be the most comfortable and responsive one I've ever used....the keys "click" nicely when you press them too, I highly recommend it.
If they did bluetooth ones, Id've got those instead but wired was all I could find. Cherry do make "normal" keyboards too, but i wanted a heavy duty one that would last me a long time.
I just did a quick search on Fleabay ("Cherry Keyboard") and came up with mine for £2.50 + £7 p&p - £9.50 total........so they're still cheap as chips if you want one

.
