Gaffer, have you ever thought of making some propaganda for Nintendo, you're awfully good at it

"PAPERMARIO THE THOUSAND YEAR DOOR is one of the best games ive ever played "
'I get money, money I got'.
'I'm a hustla homie, I'm a hustla, hustla homie!'

@ Ynnebenny, you hit the nail on the head. Nintendo's new "family philosophy" is what's paid off.
I started out with buying a Wii for my nephew's B'day pressie.........

......we now have 6 amongst us bro's and sis's.
My mum is quite happy to get up and play Wii Sports Bowling...something she NEVER did with any other console (usually other consoles resulted in a roll of the eyes ).

@Ed....yep, I should get shares in them, shouldn't I .

Hey Gaffer. (Did try to PM you but your box is full). Sorry for the off-topic here.....

I notice you have a keyboard in your set-up. Which one is it? I've been online for a couple of weeks or so, and am getting tired of using the wiimote for typing. I'd rather go for one that's been tried and tested.
Cheers.

Sorry about that .....I've made some space .

The keyboard I bought is not a "standard" domestic one you can get in PCWorld (it was "Ebay to the rescue" ).

It's an industrial microswitched keyboard, the kind used in factories/airports/industry etc etc. Liquidated stock so got it for a measly £9 inc.delivery (normally about £45).
As the USB cord was short, I also got a 5m USB2.0 extension cable for £3 to go with it (sometimes I love ebay - there were about 3 kb's for sale when I bought mine).

It's a Cherry industrial 83-key mini keyboard (I got the white one).

It has to be the most comfortable and responsive one I've ever used....the keys "click" nicely when you press them too, I highly recommend it.

If they did bluetooth ones, Id've got those instead but wired was all I could find. Cherry do make "normal" keyboards too, but i wanted a heavy duty one that would last me a long time.
I just did a quick search on Fleabay ("Cherry Keyboard") and came up with mine for £2.50 + £7 p&p - £9.50 total........so they're still cheap as chips if you want one .
