Doing a pub quiz last night, I thought it might work on here too. I'm not sure how many of you know what these are, so I shall explain.

They are usually made up of words, but can contain pictures, which, when taken literally, will give a phase or word. Take this example:
e.g. GO(& HAMLET)
This would be Go Outside and Play (Hamlet is a play, and go is outside of & (Play))

I will start off and post the first one. Then the person who gets it right posts the next one! If you give an answer, please explain as to how you arrived at the answer (for some that aren't in one line, it would probably be easier to find a picture of it, because it doesn't work very well when posting normally.

So here is the first one. A really nasty one that was in the quiz last night, which I don't think anyone got!

or enscyrpt

(in)plural = ins

as in inside the letters c r y p t

to make inscrypt??

sounded clear in my head!!

I'm afraid not. That's what I thought it was, until I heard the answer!

HINT: Count the number of 'ins'!

edit - reason 12ins = 12inches = One foot

crypt = grave

Im normally good at this, but this is a toughie.
