Well, my tastes are so diverse - last night I watched "The Philadelphia Story" on DVD - it is a black and white movie from 1939 starring Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn and James Stewart.
If you are not put off by it being black and white, plus the fact that it was so soon after the transition to "talkies" that they still had silent sections, then you should thoroughly enjoy it.
My favourite actor ever, Jimmy Stewart, won an Oscar for his role - and in case you were unaware, this was the original version of a later movie called "High Society". "High Society" was filmed 18 years later as a musical featuring Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Grace (Princess) Kelly. The original was not a musical but was almost identical script-wise.
Jimmy Stewart played the part that Frank Sinatra later played. Hepburn = Kelly and Grant = Crosby.
One of my all-time favourite movies. 9/10
