I've added to the rep for the posts the echo my own thoughts on this subject. I agree with all who can see this being a useful way to recognise genuinely useful contributions to the forum, in other forums I use the only indication of such information is the members post count.

The great thing about rep is that you won't increase it by saying yeah I agree and then adding a smiley.

So anyway, yeah, I agree.

If you click on the usercp button in the navigation bar up there ^^^^ you go to the place that has your subscribed threads....... the reputation box is underneath that.

I think that might indicate that nobody has added rep for your posts yet, I've just checked mine and can't find the button either, maybe you need a certain amount or we're both looking in the wrong place.

I wonder if anyone is giving someone a good reputation. I know I did for one person. Can't remember who. But probably most don't even know about it.

On my other main forum, we have "slap" (good rep) and "tickle" (bad rep) and everyone has a Karma score. Most are just zero, although some of the more active members have a positive score. Mine is the highest on our forum - I've got about 40 I think.

It's more visual than this system. Although in the absence of active administrators, we are obviously going to have to make the most of what we've got...

I've been trying to use them as I know a friend who uses a forum with the same format and its something thay all use and like.

They give them for all sorts a funny post, and informative post, for being helpful makes the board he uses really friendly so he tells me.
