The layout wont load DK. I also sent JB a basic layout last night in simalar colours. But the more ideas oflayout he gets the better the newletter will become.

My layout is just a draft, it is not the finished product. It's just to give people an idea of how it will be set out.

I've just been working on the newsletter, now I've got a bit of time! I have decided to release the newsletter on a Friday, to coincide with new releases and Nintendo's updates etc. I aim to release the first issue this Friday, but in true Ninty style it might be delayed, depending on how much I get done this weekend.

When I get home from work later, I will ask people who have shown an interest what they would like to do eg. I need someone to find a Deal of the Week, a review to make up the bulk of the newsletter, and a thread/post of the week!

I could do with some advice. At the moment, there is a main article (a review of some kind) that takes up quite a bit of the pages. There is a bit of room down the left hand side for stuff like thread of the week, deal of the week etc. However, should I extend the newsletter to two pages, so there is more room for more stuff, or should I make the main article something different to a review? Or keep the reviews section, but ask for people to put a word limit on them if they want them used, so it takes up less space?

Another update. I have asked FooFan if he would like to be the official best thread/post of the week hunter, I've asked strapping_young_lad to find a good deal of the week, and I've asked OogieBoogie to find the best prices on new/upcoming releases. As long as they give me their info on Thursday evening, I can get the newsletter as up to date as possible before it is released on Friday.

Now I need someone willing to find a good review, not overly long, each week. Maybe we could hold competitions to see who gets into future issues. I'm using Solar_Wii's Mario Galaxy review to get an idea for space when laying it out, but as I've laid it all out nice, I don't see why it can't be used!

I also need some people to find people's birthdays in the last week, ie. last Friday to this Friday coming. That should be easy, just go to the Calender and see who's birthdays are listed. Only use dates listed in the calender though! Also, another easy one, it to find out the new or future releases for the Wii (and possibly DS if I have room). New releases should be from the week 7/12/07 - 14/12/07 and Future releases should be from the week 15/12/07 - 21/12/07. That leaves me to handle the stats.

Looking at what you done so far i would say use to pages. I could do birthday for you if no one else has voulented. and its looking good!
