This tends to happen a lot on many forums, often people join either post an introduction or simply lurk, never post then tire and leave. I think that less than 50% of most forums tend to be active members, however that means even if it was 25% who were active on here we would have 1,250 active members. I think we most likely have a smaller percentage than that, so as our memers grow in number so will our active members.

I know I've tried to encourage my Wii owning friends to join, no success wth that yet. Many active members are showing at least 1 referal in their profiles, so well done to them as they are not just actively participating but also looking to help by bringing more members in.

I'm looking forward to a bigger and better forum in the not too distant future, maybe christmas will bring an influx of new Wii owners to our virtual doors.

I hear ya, my usual haunt has just over 31000 now and there's only about 10ish people on at once at the most lately Still, been there 2.5 years now, not leaving anytime soon

Perfect example is this site as I'm typing this has 56 users online - only 7 of which are members.

As TKD said, its a case of a lot of people just browsing, either for an answer to a query or just lurking around.

We do seem to have more active memebrs than ever before though which can only be a good thing.

In all honesty when he first purchased the site off wiistar i didn't notice until he posted a message saying he did it thats how elusive the man is! :P

Im not sure how website earning potential works so can someone explain why he owns the site yet never really visits??

Surely it's in his best interest to if he's to make some money from it.

Can he make money from a site like this????
