I suggest you implement the same rules for all extremely popular threads, starting with Brawl in a weeks time.
The Medal of Honour thread did not have it's post count removed because of it's popularity, but because of the content within. I'm sure if the Brawl thread becomes a place of spam, rather than proper discussion about the game then the same will happen to it.

Are you being serious?
It's got nothing to do with that at all. We were concerned with the fact that people were joining the forum and just posting loads in that thread, not contributing to any other part of the forum. Why would we worry about them catching up with our own post count?!
The post count should reflect(Not entirely though) how much people contribute to the forum, not to a single game's discussion. If people want to use this forum only to discuss MoH then that's fine, but there's no reason why they should be above other users in post count just because it's the quickest moving thread on here and gets a lot of pointless posts.

Funniest thing I've read on this forum
I would go into it, but I would just be repeating what Foo has said.
And I don't think we've isolated member's. I announced the change in the Tournament section, and got congratulated on making <mojo> a mod and for starting a new Online Discussion thread. Nothing else was said.
Seeing as the change has been made, this thread can be locked. It's not going anywhere now.
EDIT: Just to add, it wasn't just the staff's idea, it was suggested by a number of member's as well. I guess those member's didn't want the MoH people catching up with their count either
