Why are they there?
Well if you think a post deserves a wider audience and help generate more visitors to www.wiitalk.co.uk you can click any of these links and providing you have an account you can promote the post.

Could they be added next to the "online/karma/report" buttons instead?
They could all fit quite snugly.
(or maybe to the left of the "quote" button)
I especially like the fact that individual posts can be selected.....useful if someones put a useful bit of info up I reckon

Expanding, expanding, expanding. I think they are a great idea. As for relocating them, that's a good idea. How about relocating them next to the
"report post" button, so it would be better suited. Would also make the forum much cleaner.
I actually had them where all you guys suggested but moved them because it was making the site all wonky and caused the threads to be even bigger than what they are now - I will have a think about it.
The more people that digg the threads the wider coverage the board gets so it all helps.
Gonna lay off the mods abit for a couple fo weeks and get some good posting in, as I havent had a chance to read some of the excellent posts we have had recently.
