Reunited with my Wii!
Yes it's true, I am once again at one with my Wii (Even after 8 months that still sounds a bit dodgy). Obviously I've had a few things to keep me occupied in my first few weeks of Uni, but now the work has begun and the studying has started I feel it will be getting plenty of usage
There's nothing quite like seeing the looks on people's faces when they find out you have a Wii. The reactions are always pretty much the same 'Omg, you have a Wii?! Can I play?'
And then a few games in 'This is so fun, I'm going to get one of these!'
It's in those moments that you become truly proud of your purchase and you realise why the Wii is such a social machine. I was sat with my flatmates the other night as we went through a load of games that had everyone smiling and laughing. You have games like Wii Sports that are a great introduction to what the Wii can offer and gets everyone up and moving. Then you can bring it down a bit with Big Brain Academy with it's competitive edge, perfect for students!
By now, everyone knows about the Wii and pretty much everyone, who hasn't already, wants to either have a go on one or own one. The TV ads are constantly on our TV screens and because people have never seen something like this before they immediately want to try it out. The fact is the Wii is 'Cool'. It's the thing to have. When I first got mine I remember my own Dad telling his friends and associates that we had one and just how hard it is to get and he's a teacher! Hardly the stereotypical gamer. When, in the history of gaming, has it ever been considered 'cool' to own a particular console?! Has anyone ever seen your Wii and come out with something like 'Ah, your a gaming geek I see'?
Us Wii owners can take pride in our console choice and mention it in conversations without ever being worried that the other person will label you as a typical 'gamer' (even though most of us are ).
Nintendo have done more than just create a great console that has put the fun back into playing video games. They have created a machine that almost everybody wants, but only some have... and that my friends, is the essence of 'cool'

They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder. I see that in your case this is most definitely true! Many forums contain posts along the lines of "I'm bored of my Wii.. .. .. " as people who were either new to consoles or had never got into a new console at launch had over extended expectations. But not you!! You have the perfect friend, and the perfect friend maker! I wish you both the greatest happiness over the next three years together.
A short blog, however I think it's better that you do many (small or big) rather than like one blog every few centuries... I can't believe you didn't take it with you in the first place!
"PAPERMARIO THE THOUSAND YEAR DOOR is one of the best games ive ever played "
'I get money, money I got'.
'I'm a hustla homie, I'm a hustla, hustla homie!'
Time to exploite the power of "Wii Addiction" here Foo, and make some precious Uni spending money from anyone who "Want's to play with your Wii". (Uggghhh!)

He did say he left it with his brother in his last Blog, but as he wasn't using it, the Foo rightly took ownership of it.
Good move

Thank you very much for those kind words (That comes from both of us )
This is the first console I've got at launch so I've never experienced having to wait for all the high-quality titles to appear. Although at some points it's been frustrating, I think that overall just watching the console get bigger and better is a great experience in itself and saying you were there right at the beginning is also pretty respectable
And yes, just a short one as I had a few spare minutes and wanted to share my joy with the world and shout my love from the rooftops!

You know what there is a really nice feeling when you happen to say you have a Wii, after I've explained its actually mine and not the kids.
So many people are now trying or wanting one for this christmas and there is that happy, smug, content feeling inside that shouts out "I have already have one nah nah nah nah nah".
Not meany people i know, where i live, have a Wii, They all have Xbox360's, and addicted to Halo. Not that many people think that Wii is that "Great" as they first thought it would be and lose of interest of it. Some of my friends say they also have no games, and mostly all of them are kiddy games. That why i dont bring it up to my friends that i have a Wii. I dont really care what they think. There just missing out on ALOT of fun.
happen? No, I was more like "oh, I've got a wii!" I changed my msn name and bebo name to show this. I bragged. specially since i was lucky, a couple of my mates have wanted one for months, and i just went on amazon and bought one. haha! I haven't have any friends visit to play yet. coz my room is tiny (well it is now, coz i have a king size bed taking up all the room!), though my mum is hooked. So mine is going to become a touring Wii!
Games I have; <SuperMarioGalaxy> <wiifit> <Mario Kart Wii> <GuitarHeroIII> <ZackAndWiki> <WiiSport> <WiiPlay> <MarioParty8> <BigBrainAcademy>
