Just one more question about this game from me! Are the new guitar controllers compatible with Guitar Hero 3 (obviously with limited functionality)?

Yes JB, but the sliders will not work on GH3, only on WT.

Not sure about the Star Power button though ??

You can use the WTar in GH3 but the slider bar doesn't do anything. You can use the starpower button (it is just a 'minus' button after all).

Just remember JB if you're going to buy GH3 game only, that the guitar and game is £35 in HMV (instore only I think) at the moment which might be just as cheap as trying to get the game only and you'd get an extra guitar. Even if you dont need the extra guitar you can always sell it. Just sold my spare one on amazon for £40!

I bought the bundle in HMV today for £31.50 (student discount). I am selling both parts separately on eBay in the hope of making a bit of profit. I did it once before with a spare copy of the game, and it went for £30. If they don't sell, I'll flog it to my sister!

The only reason I wanted to know about the controller is to have an extra selling point for the game.
