I have decided to start this feature to mark my reaching of 2000 posts, and I originally mentioned it here:

Basically, this thread will be open to all suggestions for categories, ways to run the awards etc. I have received some suggestions, but if you can post all of them in this thread, then they are all in one place, and everyone can discuss them.
Once I feel I have a good list of categories, and I know exactly how people want to see it run, I will ask 21stcentury for a new sub forum where the nominations threads can be put.
I will probably run two categories at a time, so people don't lose too much interest, but so it can also last for a good couple of months.
Now, over to you! Remember, this is a thread for discussion, not nominations. They will take place at a later date, and when they do take place, you will all know about it!
