ithead folks but there's something which has been bugging me for ages -
Why must people make unnecessarily long quotes ? (Rhetorical question)
A perfect illustration of what i'm talking about is Domms last post . Only a small portion of Larss post is relevant to his point yet he quoted his whole lengthy post . In fact there was no real need to quote at all as he posted straight after . So what we ended up with was Larss post twice .
Ive often seen people quote massive posts only to offer a small sentence which may or may not bear any relevance to it at all .
If people edited their quotes to only include what portion of it is relevant to their point , the thread would be more coherent and less untidy . In fact , i'm going just edit any unnecessary quotes from now on .
