Default Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Don't worry I am not going to start spamming this forum with old games but here is just a few quick first impressions...

I thought this game looked like a Tomb Raider rip-off; which was both appealing and disgusting; however upon playing it for a couple of hours I have discovered that I was only partially right... It is indeed heavily influenced by games like TR Legends and Pop sands of time series BUT it also has heavy influence from Gears of War...

The combat mechanics are very similar to gears (minus the active reloads) and I have to say that for a game that has stolen so many aspects with out any original tweaks... it is absolutely brilliant and completely under-rated.

Uncharted doesn't essentially do anything new; but what it has done (or at least so far for me) has balanced both the action and plat-forming elements so perfectly and precisely that it is just an absolute pleasure to play. This game has been (including by me until now) very under-rated amongst non ps3 owners; Microsoft are missing out on a gem of a game.

I can't put it down at the moment. Sure it copies from so many other games but it does everything either as well or better than they do which just makes it so good and enjoyable.

Anyway praising over... I just wanted to place some empathy on this game and I hope that their is a sequel in the works
