ram - as much as possible (upto about 2gigs - over that it starts to get wasted)

Processors - best out at the moment are the athlon "fX" 64bit ones or the intel core duo ones - as fast as you can

Graphics Card - Nvidia or ATI radion - the higher numbers/ram/price the better - if you can get a Dual or "SLI" setup go for it. Make sure it supports DX10 (directX 10)

Hrddrive - probbly best with a SATA (serial ATA) drive, big cash (8mb would be good) and as big as possible

you want a quality motherboard to stick it all in to, i have always liked ASUS or ABIT motherboards.....

other than that..
