8/10

I played this on the DS first, mainly getting it for my sister, and so it made less of an impression on me. So I decided on a score that reflected the feeling I got from the DS version, with what I have played of the Wii version.

Whilst visually it is a simple game, this has the benefit of being very clear, and the drawn characters used for the story are very good.

Some people will be put off by the idea of performing surgery, and while there is blood, it is not done in a gory way.

The game is basically a puzzle game, with certain strategies for certain illnesses, but it doesn't come across that way. It is done so well that you don't feel like you are just doing the same things over-and-over again, although you will probably notice some repetition.

Later on the game can get quite difficult, but unlike the DS version you can adjust the difficulty, still expect a challenge. The challenge is where the fun is, balancing your need to seal wounds but also to stop new ones forming I found to be a lot of fun, sort of like juggling. (Which I can't do.)
